Using InnerWork

Terms of Service

These terms describe the simple agreement between you and InnerWork when you use this site or purchase a digital journal.

Effective
August 19, 2026

Clear words.
No fine-print fog.

1. Agreement

By using innerwork.art, subscribing to emails or purchasing an InnerWork product, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to make a purchase.

2. Wellness tools, not health care

InnerWork journals and website content are educational self-care and wellness resources. They are not medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, treatment or crisis services, and they do not create a clinician-patient relationship. Please read our full Disclaimer.

3. Digital products and license

When you purchase a journal, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, print and use it for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, upload, reproduce for others, remove ownership notices from, or create competing products from InnerWork materials.

4. Orders, prices and refunds

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless the checkout states otherwise. Checkout, payment delivery, applicable tax handling and any refund request are processed by Gumroad under the terms and refund information shown on the product listing and receipt. Because files are delivered digitally, access generally begins immediately after payment.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with site security, attempt unauthorized access, use automated systems in a way that burdens the service, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, or use the site or its content unlawfully.

6. Intellectual property

The InnerWork name, site design, writing, journal prompts, exercises, artwork and downloadable products are owned by InnerWork or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No ownership is transferred to you.

7. Third-party services

The site links to services such as Gumroad, Kit, Google Analytics and Pinterest. We do not control third-party sites, and their own terms and privacy practices apply. A link does not mean we endorse every statement or service on that site.

8. No guarantees

To the extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that journaling will produce a particular emotional, health or life outcome, or that the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Limitation and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, InnerWork is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the site or products. Our total liability for a paid product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to info@innerwork.art.
